Most often many think of blogging a s a self promotional tool that only aspires to promote the creator and its products. Well I am one who will definitely say there is more to blogging than just that. I look at blogging as the gateway into the new millennial writing industry. Allowing yourself to get connected to others and have those connected to you in a more personable way such as blogging affords you experience, insight, and constructive criticism.
The catch to blogging is to connect with other social media links so that your blog might be promoted, talked about and then sought after. It all begins somewhere and why not have that some where be your blog!? When you tweet about your blog or post blog features on social media sites such as Facebook and Myspace, it offers you an avenue to reach out to many.
I have found that creating blogs for specific genres and subjects according to your audience may be necessary. I have my own personal blog where I just write and vent on topics that I enjoy. Then there is my spiritual blog where I offer inspirational encouragement for life situations. Lastly, I have created this blog that offers words of wisdom and advice on writing and everything that has to do with writing.
I believe Blogging is the best thing that could have been created for the writer. Every now and again you might come across something that just stands out. An article that speaks to your mind, body and soul. For me more often than not that information has been captured in blogs and blog forums. Therefore I say blogging is very important to the writer and can very well be considered a writers best friend. When you make deadlines for yourself, such as limited time and 500 count word products you can very well enhance your writing skills. Writing a blog provides you the material to write a book. If you have written a blog for at least six months consistently then you have written a book!
So as I write this blog to you on a subject I hold near and dear to my heart;Writing. I encourage you to consider your purpose for writing, your audience, and your quest as you move forward. If you don't have a blog Create One and then begin to write and share.
**Looking forward to being invited to read your blogs.**
